NewWeb
Terms of use
These terms apply when you use NewWeb (newweb.ai) to build, publish or visit webs. By creating an account you agree to them.
1. Your account
- You need to be at least 18, or have a parent's permission.
- Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
- One person or company per account.
2. Your webs and your content
- What you build with NewWeb is yours: the text, the design and the code you download.
- You give NewWeb the right to store, show and publish your webs so the service works.
- You're responsible for what you publish, including text, images and anything you import from another web. Only import webs you own or have permission to use.
- Photos come from Unsplash and are used under the Unsplash licence.
3. Prohibited content and use
You may not use NewWeb, or attempt to use it, to create, store, publish or distribute any web, text, image or other material that contains, offers, promotes or facilitates any of the following:
- Adult content: pornography, nudity, sexually explicit or erotic material, escort or sexual services, and webs with an adult theme.
- Weapons: the sale, manufacture or promotion of firearms, ammunition, explosives or other weapons, or parts for them.
- Gambling: casinos, betting, poker, slot machines, lotteries and any other game of chance played for money or prizes, including webs that review, compare or refer visitors to such services.
- Fraud and deception: scams, phishing, fake log-in or payment pages, fake shops or giveaways, pyramid schemes, forged documents, and the impersonation of any person, company, bank or public authority.
- Illegal goods and services: narcotics and other controlled substances, prescription medicine offered without a prescription, counterfeit or pirated goods, and stolen data or accounts.
- Harmful software and conduct: malware, hacking services, spam, and anything that harms visitors or other services.
- Violence and hatred: terrorism, violence, threats, harassment, or incitement to hatred against any person or group.
- Abuse of minors: any sexual content involving minors.
- Infringement: material that copies another party's work, brand or trademark without permission.
- Any other unlawful activity under Swedish law, EU law or the law of the country where the web is offered.
This prohibition applies whether or not the material is ever published, and however a request is worded or framed, including as a test, a demonstration or fiction.
4. Screening and enforcement
- NewWeb automatically screens requests, typed text, uploaded pictures and pages, using AI among other means, before they are built, stored or published. A request that breaches section 3 is refused with the notice "Stopped, this is not allowed on NewWeb.", and no change is counted for it.
- Automated screening can make mistakes in both directions. It does not replace your own responsibility: you alone are responsible for ensuring that what you create and publish is lawful.
- We may, without prior notice, refuse, remove or take offline any material that we reasonably believe breaches these terms, and suspend or close the account behind it.
- We may keep records of a breach and report it to the competent authorities where the law requires this or where we suspect a serious crime.
- We tell the account owner what was taken down and why, and you can reply if you think we made a mistake.
5. Plans and payment
- The free plan includes a set number of renders per day and month. Paid plans are described on the pricing section.
6. Availability
We work to keep NewWeb and published webs online, but we can't promise they'll never be down. Keep a copy of important webs with "Download the file".
7. Liability
NewWeb is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we're not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost sales, caused by the service being unavailable or by mistakes in generated content. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under Swedish law.
8. Personal data
We store your email, a protected version of your password, your webs and how many changes you use. We don't sell your data. Read more on the privacy page.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. If the changes matter, we'll tell you before they take effect.
10. Law
These terms follow Swedish law.
